  Changing the Outgoing Server in MS Outlook 2003
1. Click on TOOLS and then EMAIL ACCOUNTS
2. Click on VIEW OR CHANGE AN EXISTING ACCOUNT then click next
***** If you have more than one email account listed here, you will need to make this change to each of the accounts separately *****
3. Click on your email account and then click on the button called CHANGE
4. You will find the server setting to the right of this screen. Change the outgoing SMTP server to read:
smtp2.crosslink.net
5. Directly down from the window for the SMTP server, you will see a button called MORE SETTINGS, click on it.
6. Click on the OUTGOING SERVER tab at the top
7. Change the box for My Server Requires Authentication
8. Change the dot to be in front of LOG ON USING
9. Change the bullet dot to LOG ON USING. This will activate the windows for USER NAME and PASSWORD. Enter in your CROSSLINK USER NAME AND PASSWORD (DO NOT enter in @crosslink.net in with the user name.) Make sure the box is checked to REMEMBER THE PASSWORD
*** DO NOT CHECK THE USE SECURE PASSWORD AUTHENTICATION! ***
10. Click OK, then click on Next and then Finish
*** YOU MAY FIND IT NECESSARY TO CLOSE OUTLOOK AND REOPEN IT FOR THE CHANGES TO TAKE EFFECT ****
